Interests:
The research interests of the committee members cover the broadly understood subject of physical activity, the conditions for undertaking it, and aspects shaping activities in physical education, sport, physiotherapy, tourism, and recreation. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of kinesiology, research in this area covers a number of fields, in particular neurophysiology, biomechanics, biochemistry, psychology, sociology, and pedagogy. The committee’s activities focus on organizing national conferences, scientific sessions, publishing, and environmental activities. The Commission publishes a quarterly journal entitled “Issues of Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Neurophysiology and Sport Promotion” (IRONS). It is the main organiser of the series of conferences entitled “Promotion of Polish Rehabilitation”. The Commission cooperates with the Greater Poland Regional Assembly and the Convention of Starosts in activities for the benefit of people with disabilities.
