Committee on Climate, Water Resources and Air Quality, PAS - Poznań Branch

Interests:

The Commission brings together experts with interests and expertise in climate, water resources, and air protection. Climate change, caused mainly by anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, has non-climate consequences. Poland’s water resources are below the European average, and droughts and floods cause great losses. Air pollution, mainly related to heating and transport, is often visible in the form of smog. The topics of interest to the Commission raise emotions and controversies concerning both the diagnosis of problems and ways to solve them.
