Settlement changes and environmental changes in the Polish Lowlands, problems of Neolithisation and the dynamics of Neolithic community development in Central Europe, cultural and settlement changes in Greater Poland and Kujawy in the Middle Ages, prehistory of north-eastern Africa – hunter-gatherer communities of Africa and Asia Minor, research on migrations, cultural heritage and memory.
