Performing permanent laser measurements of satellites and space debris, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), radioastronomical measurements in the low frequency range, Two-Way Satellite Time and Frequency Transfer (TWSTFT), gravimetric measurements and fibre optic measurements; orbital processing of laser observation results for geophysics, geodynamics, geodesy, and ESA Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Safety programmes; determination of global changes in laser and GNSS coordinates; participation in the creation of international and Polish atomic time scales and coordinated universal time.
