Results of archaeological research conducted in connection with the reconstruction of the Old Market Square in Poznań

On 11 June 2025, another lecture in the ‘Science and Society’ series was held in the Turquoise Room of the Działyński Palace.

The speaker was Ms Katerini Zisopolu-Bleja from the Archaeological Museum in Poznań, who appeared at the invitation of the chairman of the Archaeological Commission of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań. During the lecture entitled ‘Results of archaeological research conducted in connection with the reconstruction of the Old Market Square in Poznań,’ we had the opportunity to hear about many interesting facts related to the archaeological research carried out during the reconstruction of the Old Market Square, as well as to learn more about the history of medieval Poznań.

The event attracted the interest of Poznań residents, as evidenced by the large turnout and numerous questions from the audience.
