On 15 May 2025, another lecture in the ‘Science and Society’ series was held in the Turquoise Room of the Działyński Palace. The speaker was Prof. Justyna Walkowiak, PhD, Vice-Chair of the Onomastic Commission of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań (Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań), who gave a lecture entitled ‘Street names in old and contemporary Poznań’. The lecture was accompanied by the promotion of her latest two-volume monograph entitled ‘Street Names of Poznań’, published by the ‘Poznańskie Studia Polonistyczne’ publishing house. The event attracted the interest of the residents of Poznań, as evidenced by the large turnout and numerous questions from the audience.
