Professor Wiktor Dega – a man of science, a model doctor, a source of inspiration

On 8 May 2025, on the initiative of the Rehabilitation and Social Integration Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań and the Wiktor Dega Institute of the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznań, a conference was held to commemorate the achievements of the outstanding Poznań doctor and social activist

‘Professor Wiktor Dega – a man of science, a model doctor, a source of inspiration’

During the lectures, an outstanding group of speakers presented not only the biography, achievements and role of Professor Dega in the development of orthopaedics and rehabilitation in Poland, but also the relevance of his ideas in the contemporary healthcare system. The hybrid event was attended by over 120 participants.
