LabsExpo Exhibition - summary
On 19-20 March 2025, the Labs Expo Laboratory Equipment and Technology Fair was held at the Poznań Congress Centre. The Polish Academy of Sciences actively participated in the event, represented not only by its Poznań branch, but also by two institutes from Poznań: the Institute of Human Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as the M. Nałęcz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering from Warsaw.
The fair was an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with representatives of the laboratory industry and business, and to familiarise both visitors and exhibitors with the scope of activities of the Polish Academy of Sciences Institutes and their key role in the development of science and technology. Visitors to the Polish Academy of Sciences stand were treated to numerous attractions prepared by representatives of the institutes.
During the fair, a competition was also held for the GRAND PRIX of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the most innovative product/service/solution presented at the LabsExpo 2025 Laboratory Equipment and Technology Fair. On behalf of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the award and distinctions were presented by Prof. Luiza Handschuh, Director of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań.
The Polish Academy of Sciences was the Honorary Patron of the event.
