Interests:
The committee members collect and compile old and current place names and geographical names, mainly from the Greater Poland region. The aim of its representatives is to promote knowledge about the origin of proper names and their historical value. The committee members are also interested in other categories of proper names, including names of people (surnames, nicknames), streets, roads, squares, and service and commercial facilities that appear in contemporary urban and rural areas.
