On 20 March, a lecture entitled ‘Ecological challenges and innovations in the world of sustainable packaging’ was held. Our speaker was Dr Tomasz Garbowski, Prof. UPP from the University of Life Sciences in Poznań, a member of the Mechanical and Construction Sciences Committee.

The professor devoted his presentation to paper and corrugated cardboard packaging, which, as a biodegradable material, does not leave piles of unused material in the natural environment or islands of plastic floating in the seas and oceans.
