Polish Academy of Science - Poznań Branch
The Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences was established in 1972 as one of the regional branches of the Polish Academy of Sciences, with the aim of supporting scientific and popularisation activities outside Warsaw. Since its inception, the branch has played an important role in integrating the scientific community of Greater Poland and neighbouring regions. The Branch’s mission is to integrate scientific life in the region, disseminate and promote scientific research, and popularise knowledge among the general public. The Branch cooperates with scientific units of the Polish Academy of Sciences, universities, cultural institutions and public administration.
